[?]I have a .db file and no idea what's inside. What do I get?
A ZIP with one CSV per user table, each with its real column headers — the fastest possible way to see and search any SQLite database, from app exports to data journalism drops.
[?]Why does it need a 1MB download first?
SQLite itself is compiled to WebAssembly for this tool — the 1MB engine loads once, on demand, only when you use this converter. Like the video tools' ffmpeg core, the UI asks before spending it.
[?]Are blobs, NULLs and weird types handled?
NULLs become empty cells, numbers stay numbers, binary blobs become base64 text (CSV has no binary type). Views, triggers and indexes are schema, not data — tables are the dump.
[?]My table has millions of rows — will it hang?
No: tables over 200,000 rows stop with a clear error telling you to filter in DB Browser first. Browsers are not data warehouses and this tool won't pretend otherwise.
[?]Is my database uploaded anywhere?
No. The WASM engine runs locally in your browser; your data never touches a server — unlike every online SQLite-to-CSV site.
[?]Why convert from SQLITE to ZIP?
SQLITE Document (SQLITE) and ZIP Document (ZIP) serve distinct roles across the digital workflow. Converting to ZIP provides optimized compatibility, modern compression efficiency, or standardized playback across web browsers, operating systems, and media production environments.
[?]Is the SQLITE to ZIP conversion lossless or lossy?
The output format (ZIP) is inherently lossless or supports lossless operation. Your original visual or audio fidelity is mathematically preserved without quantization artifacts.
[?]Does convrtr upload my files to any cloud server?
Never. convrtr is architected with a strict zero-upload model. All processing, decoding, decompression, and encoding happen 100% locally on your machine using sandboxed WebAssembly and Web Workers. Your data never touches an external server, database, or analytics collector.
[?]How can I convert SQLITE to ZIP from the terminal / command line?
You can execute this conversion locally via command-line utilities such as ffmpeg, cwebp, or ImageMagick. For example: see the developer terminal recipe provided in the technical specifications dossier above. convrtr provides the identical local-first capability directly inside your browser without installing CLI packages.
[?]Can I batch convert multiple SQLITE files to ZIP simultaneously?
Yes. You can drop multiple .sqlite files into the instrument to process them concurrently in browser Web Workers, or click 'Open in Master Studio' to queue mixed formats, configure individual targets, and export as a single ZIP archive.
